About the Role:

• Shift Pattern: Night shifts as part of a structured rota
• Environment: Small, 2-bed home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
• Management: Work under the guidance of a highly experienced manager dedicated to supporting staff and residents

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of children during the night
• Provide emotional and behavioural support to residents as needed
• Monitor and respond to any incidents or emergencies
• Maintain accurate records and logs of night-time activities
• Assist with bedtime routines and morning preparations
• Collaborate with day staff to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with EBD is preferred
• Strong observational and crisis management skills
• Ability to stay alert and responsive throughout the night
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Flexibility to work on a night shift rota
