Overview of role

Oversee the smooth running of the Bizerba Lines with completion of all CCP paperwork for areas two and three.

The Role:

• Accurate completion of all technical paperwork including but not limited to QMS (phone number removed) and QMS (phone number removed)
• Product and label check’s against set criteria as outline on technical paperwork to include the first label check of each run to ensure accuracy and avoid any wastage.
• Make sure all the meat is correctly tagged and data loaded onto the Bizerba is accurate to allow for full traceability, this is to include correct PLU and slicer number.
• Complete the required temperature checks of meat and record accurately and report any non-conformances to the relevant people.
• Complete a start and end of shift check of the machine to ensure it is working correctly while continuingly monitoring through shift. Any issues to be identifed and addressed and reported to shift Manager whether resolved or not.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of how to operate the Bizerba machine and products.
• Ensure all orders are completed as per production sheet.
• Ensure that the area is clean and tidy at all times by complying with the company ‘clean as you go’ and promote this to other colleagues within the area.
• Work in collaboration with the other Bizerba’s to ensure rotation between the roles within the department.
• Complete the stock rotation within the High-Risk internal fridge and ensure the stock board is updated regularly with accurate information. 
• Be trained and available for supervisor absence and holiday cover of the area.
• Notify any unresolved issues to Shift Manager.
• Any other reasonable requests from a Senior Member of staff.

The Person:

• Excellent oral and written English
• Food hygiene training to Level 2
• Knowledge of health and safety

• Knowledge of a high-risk factory environment would be ideal
• Experience of a manufacturing environment essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
• Excellent problem solving & analysis ability
• Product knowledge
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
• In depth knowledge of the Bizerba
