Smart Solutions are currently working in partnership with an award winning training provider, and we are pleased to be recruiting for an NVQ Assessor- Health & Social Care: Level 2 and Level 3 to join their business on a permanent basis
The NVQ Assessor will be responsible for assessing learners working in a Health & Social Care Setting within the North Wales region on a home based role.
Key Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Experience of delivery within the required area of training
- Experience of Work Based Learning.
- Experience of Award Body practices.
- Qualified or with the potential and willingness to work towards – CAVA Qualification or equivalent qualification.
- ESW Communication Level 2 and Application of Number Level 2.
- Assessor experience.
- Health & Social Care occupational experience.
- NVQ delivery experience of Health & Social Care routes.
- Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
Core Duties of the NVQ Assessor- Health & Social Care Level 2 & 3:
- Deliver training programmes to assigned learners/clients ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved.
- Covering a regional area, travelling to visit learners in workplace to undertake assessments- this will be carried out remotely for a temporary period.
- Contribute to the planning, monitoring and achievement of agreed performance targets.
- Develop course material to support the delivery requirements.
- Completion of learner attendance records and learners guided contact hours ensuring audit requirements are met.
- Maintain appropriate records of client’s achievements and meet performance criteria as laid down by relevant awarding bodies.
