Mechanical Estimator – Southampton - £55k - £65k
Established over 40 years, this M&E Building Services company is looking to recruit an ambitious and proactive Mechanical Estimator to join a small, busy team based from their offices in southern Hampshire.
They operate within numerous sectors including commercial, health, public services, education and industrial.
Reporting into and working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for:
- The creation of tenders
- Be involved in speaking to clients and presenting
- Negotiation with merchants and suppliers
- Working closely with the projects team,
- Attending client and site meetings
As the Mechanical Estimator, you will have:
- Previous experience within a Mechanical Estimator role, on M&E projects worth up to £2M
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experienced in using estimating software
- IT Literate and experienced in using estimating software
