Electrical Working Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Working Supervisor to join our team, specializing in both domestic and commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality electrical installations and maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Supervision: Lead a team of electricians and contractors on-site, providing guidance, instruction, and support to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Technical Expertise: Perform hands-on electrical work as needed, demonstrating proficiency in both domestic and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, health and safety guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any issues encountered, reporting to senior management as required.
  • Training and Development: Mentor junior staff members, assisting in their professional growth and skill development.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during projects, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruption.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or similar relevant qualifications.
  • Supervisory Qualifications: SSSTS/SMSTS certification preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a construction or electrical environment.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the electrical industry, with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both domestic and commercial settings.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Driving License: Valid UK driving license preferred.
