About the CompanyA local and international manufacturing company seeking a motivated Technical Engineer to join their team in Northamptonshire.
Position OverviewThe role involves creating CAD drawings, generating product codes, supporting various departments, and solving manufacturing problems.
Key Responsibilities- Create CAD drawings using AutoCAD Inventor
- Generate product codes using AX2009 and the D365 system
- Offer technical support to sales and production teams
- Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and resolve manufacturing issues
- Provide comprehensive technical support in all aspects of engineering/manufacturing
- Proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g. Inventor or SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of CAD software
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Engineering qualification (Mechanical preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing or engineering
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Salary Range: £34,000-£38,000
