GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic PHSE Teacher for a full-time position at a client school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to educate students in Personal, Health, Social, and Economic (PHSE) education.

Job Summary:

  • Teach PHSE to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering their personal and social development.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans.
  • Encourage students to develop positive attitudes and values.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PHSE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes student growth.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS) and a degree in a related field.
  • Have experience teaching PHSE at secondary level.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
