GSL Education is in search of a Business Studies Teacher to fill a post at one of our client schools in Sheffield. A Business Studies Teacher plays a vital role in educating students about various aspects of business, management, finance, and entrepreneurship.

Job Summary:

• Develop and plan lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers, school staff, and administrators to enhance the overall educational experience.

Role of a Business Studies Teacher:

• Business Studies Teacher design and develop the curriculum for Business Studies courses, ensuring that it aligns with national educational standards and meets the needs of the students.
• They plan and prepare engaging lessons that cover topics such as business operations, marketing, accounting, economics, and ethics.
• Business Studies Teacher deliver lessons effectively, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. This may include lectures, group discussions, case studies, and practical activities.
• They provide support and guidance to students who may be struggling with the subject, offering extra help outside of class time if needed.
• Business Studies Teacher complete administrative tasks such as keeping records of student attendance and grades, submitting reports to school management, and participating in department meetings.
• They encourage students to consider careers in business and provide guidance on further education and career pathways in the field.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a teacher within an educational setting.
• Original or certified copies of your degree certificates relevant to teaching business studies.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program.
• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
