EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Welding Coordinator to join a precision engineering company located in Walsall working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Review welding requirements
• Issuing weld consumables and procedures
• Responsibility for the jobs once they are released
• Putting together weld history sheets
• Support the calibration and maintenance of welding plant and equipment

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years experience working as a Welder / Fabricator 
• Understanding of different welding processes; TIG, MIG, MAG, STICK, ARC, FLUX CORE etc
• Understanding of weld maps and welding symbols 
• Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders within the business and externally 
• Organised, methodical approach 
• Computer literate
