Business Process Analyst, Cheshire (hybrid) 6-month contract

circa. £400-450 per day. Outside IR35

Our client in Cheshire, North West is seeking a Contract Business Process Analyst/ Process Improvement Analyst for this service sector business.

There is lots of transformation underway and it is a great time to join this forward thinking and interesting business (who are also successfully outperforming budget!)

The role involves analysing, documenting, and optimizing existing business processes at to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, in order to establish, implement and sustain process improvements.

Role responsibilities:
  • Conducting a comprehensive review of current business processes within business Operations.
  • Identifying bottlenecks, redundant process steps, and inefficiencies.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on current processes.
  • Documenting critical business processes, including detailed process maps, inputs, outputs, and process owners.
  • Identifying process gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Assessing the impact of identified gaps on business performance.
  • Proposing actionable recommendations for process improvements.
  • Designing streamlined processes with clear steps.
  • Suggesting appropriate technology and tools to support new processes.
  • Developing a detailed implementation and resource plan.
  • Defining KPIs to measure the success of implemented changes.
  • Overseeing the implementation of new or modified processes.
You will possess:
  • Minimum 3 years in a business process analyst position or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and modelling using appropriate tools (e.g., Visio, Miro, or Lucidchart).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and continuous improvement methods such as Lean Six Sigma.
