Part Time HR Advisor - Fixed term, 6 months, 

Hours of work: 16 hours per week

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to become part of our team at Runwood Homes Head office on a fixed term basis. 

Responsibilities

  • To pro-actively work on a project to support absence management, working autonomously to cover all aspects of long term absence management including working with our Occupational Health Providers and liaison with other external contacts as necessary to facilitate successful return to work.   
  • To ensure all activity is undertaken in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, and relevant legislation. 
  • To ensure all associated documentation and correspondence is correctly prepared in line with Company Policies and Procedures, and relevant legislation. 
  • To provide advice and support Managers in the effective management of both long term and short term frequent intermittent absence. 
  • Working with Managers to ensure robust systems are in place to monitor and manage staff turnover and sickness absence.
  • Maintaining absence management records producing a monthly update for the senior management team and the Board of Directors 
  • Maintain relevant electronic documentation and other filing systems.
  • To undertake other ad hoc projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an HR Advisor or similar role
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel and Word
  • Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
