The Industrial Work Solutions currently looking to recruit a experienced CNC Turner / and Manual Miller to Operate for turning and milling machines. We have a dayshift pattern available. 08:00am till 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 08:00am till 02:30pm (Friday).

Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Setup and running of parts to ensure customer requirements are met in full and all work is manufactured to a high standard and within tolerance
• Setting & operating for both CNC  turning
• Experience of Bridgeport and Hurco ( Candidate will be given on site training)
• Ability to edit existing programs.
• Familiar with basic inspection etc.
• To work pro-actively to improve productivity & efficiencies.

Main duties:

• Prepare CNC Programmes which meet Customer Specification

• Operator must be able to work to tight tolerances and be proficient in reading drawings.

• Operator will be working on the following traditional lathes (8 no) :- Dean Smith & Grace, Colchester Mastiff, Ajax Lathes

• Manual Miller wiil be working on Bridgeport machine

• Setup and Running of CNC machines to ensure the meeting of customer specification;
• Develop and Improve Manufacturing Processes;
• Inspection of parts as per Customer Requirements
• Ensure Company Documents are correctly completed
• Ensure Company Data Collection System is used correctly;
• Assist other production employees when required.
