Sous Chef

The main duties and responsibilities of the Sous Chef will be:
- Deputising the Head Chef when needed, assisting with leading and guiding the kitchen team in every service, maintaining a high consistent level throughout.
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
- Training and developing the team, guiding them and helping them grow both professionally and personally.
- Bringing new ideas and inspiration to the restaurant, banqueting & wedding menus
- Provide a consistently high level of service and product delivery.
- Controlling and managing stock
The ideal Sous Chef will:
- Be approachable, organised and consistent.
- Be inspirational and creative.
- Be reliable and hard working.
- Be a good leader and able to build rapport well with colleagues and customers.
Sous Chef Job-Type: Fulltime, Permanent
Salary: £36-£38k per annum
Schedule: 45 hours per week, 5/7 days a week
