We are supporting an SEMH specialist school with their recruitment for September for Teaching Assistants due to an increase in numbers for September. The role is based in Preston with great transport links where you will be supporting pupils, many of whom are Neuro diverse with a wide range of educational levels. You will be part of a strong diverse team who are passionate about securing the best education for the young people. The role is covering a vacancy so you would have the unique opportunity to apply for permanent position whilst working at the school. The hours would be 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday- Friday – Term Time Only- Open to Full and Part Time applicants.
After consulting with the Head Teacher, they are looking for;
- TOP 3 Characteristics- Professional, Initiative, Personable
- Ability to build appropriate relationships with pupil
- Open to any background with a transferable skilled this could be lived experience, residential care, Specialist or Primary School, prisons, health
- Fully supportive of someone looking for a career change we can upskill
