A fantastic opportunity has become available for a experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a construction and/or a fit-out background to join a well-established, dynamic and growing business. My client have been trading for over 10 years and provides turnkey solutions for the construction and fit out sectors.

They have become experts in delivering renewable energy projects for both end user clients and contractors alike and have unrivalled experience of the construction sector and delivering within this environment.

They have successfully delivered PV, Car Port, Solar Thermal, Wind Turbine, Heat Pump, CHP, EV Charging, Infrastructure and Microgrid projects across the UK using their in-house engineers.

The Duties

• Delivering projects from post Estimate through to completion
• Procurement of materials, Labour, and all Subcontract packages
• Produce Procurement Charts, RFI’s, Tech Submittals etc.
• Management of directly employed and sub-contract/specialist labour
• Management of design process through to Completion
• Overseeing HSE activities
• Commercial Awareness, Variations, Applications, Cost Control
• Liaising with clients, attending and/ or chair project meetings
• Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring a high quality of Mechanical services installation
• Programming, planning, and reporting of all project management activities.
• Manage commissioning process through to handover.

The Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience.

A proven track record in a similar position is, however, considered essential.

• Building Services project management background with strong Mechanical engineering skill set
• Management of multiple projects with a value of up to £1m each
• Strong client facing skills
• Good level of IT literacy and strong organisational skills
• A desire to embrace training and development and progression within a business
