Electrical Site Manager / Project Manager

£60,000 - £70,000/annum Yearly bonus

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Project Manager located in the Greenwich for a large scale, Shell & Core, Residential Project, United Kingdom. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects, with roles to include:

  • Manage the complete project lifecycle
  • Ensuring that the project stays on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Working closely with our inhouse commercial team, to assist with overseeing costs of labour, procurement etc.
  • Attending weekly progress meetings, design team meetings, client meetings while acting as a company representative.
  • Monitoring and managing materials, tools, and equipment to maintain an organized and productive work environment
  • Progress reporting - maintaining thorough documentation of project progress, mark ups & labour planning.
  • Conducting regular inspections to evaluate work quality, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Manage site staff and Sub-contractors.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
  • Quality control & issuing of QA packs.
  • Risk control (programme).
  • Responsible for updating RAMS.

Qualifications and Experience

• You will need a minimum of 3+ years' experience as an Electrical Site Manager within the Residential sector.

• Excellent communication and client facing skills

• An extensive understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and the Codes of Practices

• Effective problem solving & organisational skills

• Good level of IT skills

• Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in electrical engineering and management (Min SSSTS)

• Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
