Based near Musselburgh

£250 - £275 per day (Ltd Company) - 3 Month Contract – Outside IR35

This specialist manufacturer of components and systems for the process industry have exciting plans to double their order book in the next two years having joined up with a global name in the sector. With workload increasing, there is a requirement for a Production Supervisor to help support the production team to ensure that work is completed on time and to budget.

The Role

As a Production Team Leader / Production Supervisor the role will involve the following:

• Being present on the shopfloor
• Offering support to the production team on site
• Answering any questions that may arise
• Solving problems and offering advice
• Ensuring the factory is kept clean and 5S is being followed
• Team talks in the morning if required
• Monitoring attendance, behaviour and work progress
• Maximising productivity by reducing downtime
• Promoting best practice and good work ethic
• Act as a facilitator to help point the production staff in the right direction

The Production Team Leader / Production Supervisor will need the following skills to be successful in their application:

• Experience of supervising people in a manufacturing / engineering / production / logistics environment
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of empathy and support
• Excellent work ethic
• An eye for detail and diligent working practices

The Benefits

• £250 - £275 per day
• 3-month contract
