Gap Personnel is acting as an employment business and are recruiting for Production Machine Wrapper for our Client based in Trafford Park, M17.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Assemble, adjust and operate wrapping machine, bagging and packaging machines.

• Set up and check overall operation of equipment, wrapping accuracy, film size, loading and threading of machines

• Check and set up domino and proper day code, adjust UPC machine, belts, rails and location of stickers.

• Oversee set up of label printers, scales, shrink machines, heat tunnel, conveyors, tape machines, video jet and print bulk labels as needed for production.
• Signal to determine switch of positions on line, following recommended rotation procedures.
• Perform machine and product changeovers.
• Troubleshoot minor stoppages and correct as necessary.
• Troubleshoot package quality, completely review issues, and make necessary adjustments in a timely manner.

• Assemble, adjust, and operate, as scheduled


Candidate must have previous production and wrapping machine experience.

Pay £11.44/h

Working hours Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm

Role is term to perm for the right candidate
