Lead Electronics Engineer - Fareham, Hampshire - Permanent £60k-£70k
I am recruiting for an SME who would like to hire an Electronics Engineer who can head up the electronics department of their business. This role could suit a hands-on Electronics Desing Manager, a Principal or Lead Electronics Engineer or a Senior Hardware Engineer.
You’ll be the key decision maker in a tiny team of yourself and one other person, and the go-to expert for all Electronics matters.
This job would suit an experienced Engineer with a broad range of knowledge encompassing analogue and digital electronics from schematics through to PCB design. Knowledge of embedded sw (C/C++) and pc applications level software (.Net/C#) is useful, but those areas are covered already by the other half of the team.
As this role is a replacement for someone who is no longer working for the company, your first job will be to dissect the companies products to learn the details.
You’ll then work alongside the wider R&D team in the design, development and maintenance of the companies products.
