My client are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to join their team and help oversee the daily operations of their fun, vibrant activity Park.

As the Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the site.  You will support the General Manager in all aspects of park operations, including staff management, customer service, safety compliance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the park is clean, safe, and welcoming.
  • Supervise and manage staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to, conducting regular safety checks and risk assessments.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, liaising with suppliers as needed.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional activities to drive attendance and revenue.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Step in to cover shifts and duties of other staff members as needed, ensuring the park remains fully operational.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a strategic leadership role
  • Ownership of profit and loss accounts
  • Experience with financial data and KPI management
  • Experience managing and leading a large team
  • Excellent customer service and engagement skills
  • Knowledge of industry health and safety standards and compliance
  • Hospitality experience
  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of core Microsoft applications
  • Background in a service-led industry (e.g., adventure parks, family leisure0entertainment parks) is desirable
  • IOSH qualification desirable
  • First aid qualification desirable
