Role: Multisite Operations Director

Salary: £120,000 + benefits

Location: Kent

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multisite Operations Director to oversee and optimise operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will ensure customer and company objectives are met, driving excellence and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute effective operational strategies.
• Mentor and guide site operations managers to maintain high-quality standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all sites.
• Supervise daily operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Optimise resource allocation and manage budgets efficiently.
• Guarantee timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address and resolve issues.
• Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Advocate for and implement advanced technologies to improve efficiency.
• Deploy and manage warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement changes.
• Conduct regular audits and performance assessments.
• Lead initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and minimising waste.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in warehouse operations management, with a preference for ambient warehousing.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing multisite operations.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently between sites.
