Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading provider of independent community services as they’re on the lookout for an experienced Community Nurse to join the team and work on an ongoing locum basis based in Ormskirk.

As a dedicated Community Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate care to patients within their own homes, making a tangible difference in their lives. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing a diverse range of clinical situations, from routine checks to complex care routines, all within the heart of the Burscough/Ormskirk community. To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a valid NMC registration and have a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care. A minimum of 6 months experience working within a community role is required, showcasing your ability to operate with autonomy and confidence in a community setting.

Duties:

• Performing comprehensive assessment of patient nursing needs
• Plan, assess and evaluate programmes of care according to changing health needs
• To support the team leader in the co-ordination of complex and continuing care packages.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with NMC.
• Attend a multi-disciplinary case conference as the named nurse if appropriate.

The working hours for the role are Monday – Friday 9-5 however the service do also operate on weekends so you can pick up extra shifts if you like, the service can offer both full and part time hours with a pay rate of £25.95 per hour on offer. You will also need access to a car for this role, mileage is paid at 45p per mile.
