We are seeking a reliable and experienced 26T CLASS 2 Driver to join our team in Dorchester. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste to various locations. This position requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.
Pay
- £12.39 per hour
Hours
- 06:00 - 13:30 (13:00 Friday)
The role of a Driver
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Bank holiday working could be a requirement (1.5x pay increase)
Requirements:
- To be considered for this post you must hold a minimum Category C (26T) CLASS 2 driving licence
- Must have a current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical demands of the job
- High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness
- To conform with strict health and safety requirements, the role is subject to random and regular drug testing
