As the Manager, you will:
•Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of the children, managing any safeguarding or child protection concerns promptly and in line with regulations.
•Deliver high-quality care that meets the children's physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs. Provide a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can feel secure and safe.
•Work within the frameworks of the 1989 and 2004 Children's Acts, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and other relevant legislation.
•Promote and support each child's education, maintaining their school attendance.
•Lead, develop and supervise a dedicated staff team, ensuring they receive the support and training they need to excel.
•Oversee the creation and amendment of each child's care plan to reflect their evolving needs.
•Chair and participate in meetings and reviews as required.
•Champion the children's ambitions, helping them achieve their goals and maximize their potential.
•Empower the children and facilitate their active involvement in decisions about their lives and futures.

The ideal candidate will have:
•Level 3 Children and Young People's qualification or equivalent (essential)
•Level 5 Leadership and Management - Children's (desirable)
•Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior residential childcare role
•Strong knowledge of care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support
•Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
•Ability to effectively communicate with children, families, and staff
•In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and statutory guidance
