As a permanent Teacher of Drama at this Secondary Academy in Manchester, you will instil your passion for the performing arts into the hearts and minds of the young people who attend this Secondary Academy. You will prepare and deliver engaging and fun lessons, whilst supporting students to build their confidence and believe in themselves. You will be committed to ensuring that all students are given the best opportunities to succeed, and you will inspire students to gain a passion in drama.
This Ofsted rated 'GOOD' Secondary Academy in Manchester offers a high quality CPD for its entire staff. The Academy has strong links with MMU and the Alliance for Learning SCITT; they currently train ITT students as they are committed to developing new entrants to the profession.
The drama department benefits from double height performance spaces and is well resourced to provide all pupils with the opportunities they need to develop their skills.

To be considered for this role, you are required to have;
- Experience teaching drama at the secondary level
- A PGCE and a QTS
- Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum for drama
