Autism Teaching Assistant

Location: Chester

Pay: £75 - £100 (Regular pay reviews)

TA Recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a forward thinking school, working in their special educational needs department with children who have complex learning needs such as ASD. You will be working with a range of different ages. You will be supporting the children not only with their work and their everyday school life, but also helping them develop both socially and emotionally. This role is full-time (8:30am-4pm) and it is the chance to help children who need extra support flourish in and out of school. The pay rate for this role is between £85 – £100 but with regular performance reviews to reward you for the good work you do. This role is starting in September 2024.

What you will need to succeed:

You will be willing to get stuck in and have a desire to really make a difference to children’s lives. You don’t need experience (although it is preferable) just a great personality and a passion for working with children and the knowledge and willingness to help with personal care.
