Our client, a dynamic company in the food and drink industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Systems Coordinator to join their growing team as they go through an exciting expansion phase. Role Overview:

As the Quality Systems Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the quality team, directly reporting to the Technical Manager and deputising when required. You will have sole responsibility for the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it remains compliant and up-to-date through regular audits. Your role will include managing the internal audit programme and leading audits as necessary. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to the company's HACCP and Quality Systems throughout the factory and play a key role in assisting with external audits, including BRC and customer audits.

Key Responsibilities:

-Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance.
-Conduct regular audits and manage the internal audit programme.
-Lead internal audits and prepare for external audits, including BRC and customer audits.
-Ensure compliance with HACCP and Quality Systems throughout the factory.
-Act as a deputy to the Technical Manager when required.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

-Proven experience in a similar position within the food and drink industry.
-Extensive experience working with HACCP and BRC standards.
-Strong background in managing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
-Excellent auditing skills with a keen eye for detail.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary - £30,000-£35,000 (Dependent on Experience)
