Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a background in automation, looking to grow and develop your career at a brand new purpose build facility in Coventry?
This new site in Coventry represents a significant investment in advanced automation and cutting-edge technology, aimed at enhancing our clients logistics and supply chain capabilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning and continuous improvement of these systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Execute repairs and maintenance with a focus on achieving a first-time fix.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager on each shift to ensure all PPM schedules and outstanding tasks are completed.
- Oversee the performance of automated warehouse equipment.
- Partner with engineering team management, launch, and operational teams during the development of new solutions.
- Ensure the engineering function aligns with the operations team and other support functions.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proven experience in Maintenance Engineering, with a focus on Electrical and Mechanical work (30/70 split).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on automated warehouse equipment.
- Experience in robotics is desirable.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to empathize with and understand clients' perspectives and requirements.
- Skilled in interpreting data and drawing solid conclusions from analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot tables and common formulas), Word, Visio or equivalent, and Project Management software. Experienced in using AutoCAD to design functional solutions in both 3D and 2D formats.
Compensation
- Salary: £40,000
- Additional Benefits: Competitive benefits package
- Hours: 4 on /4 off shift pattern.
