Are you a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer looking to get your foot in the industry within a growing OEM who supply specialist products across the globe and offer one-on-one training and tailored development plans?

In this role you will be learning the ins and outs of designing pressure regulators and valves using Solidworks and AutoDesk Inventor. This will involve learning about flow curves & FEA to design the best performing components possible.

This well-established and specialist SME work closely with a number of vital industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, and medical devices. Over the last 20 years this company has grown exponentially into a UK powerhouse within their niche and specialist sector. Currently based in Glossop, they are moving to a brand new, purpose-built facility in Bredbury to foster continued growth.

This role would suit a Graduate, HND or similarly qualified Mechanical Design Engineer looking to progress their career within a rapidly growing SME and receive expert 1-on-1 training.

The Role:

• Designing components on Solidworks and Autodesk Inventor
• Finite Element Analysis to understand fluid flow, spot structural flaws and investigate heat transfer
• Working with clients and the wider design team to modify existing designs
• Development plan to progress your career
• 1-on-1 expert training

The Person:

• Graduate, HND or similar in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in Solidworks
• Able to commute to Glossop and later a Bredbury based office
