Venture Contracts Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to support  the civils department  of one of our clienbts on a range of renewable energy construction projects. As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that our global construction requirements are met. You will provide practical guidance, supervise construction projects, and coordinate teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support: Assist the Senior Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and supervising multiple construction projects.
  • Regulation Compliance: Work in accordance with CDM regulations, write and review RAMS, and monitor site safety.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate contractors on-site, including conducting site inductions.
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain project progress against the schedule, ensuring adherence to health and safety, quality, time, and cost parameters. Communicate any issues to the wider management team.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide high-level technical knowledge and solutions to technical problems.
  • Resource Management: Organize and ensure sufficient plant, labor, and subcontract resources are available to meet department timelines.
  • Health & Safety: Manage the health and safety requirements of projects, including risk assessments, permits, and workplace inspections.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee the construction site daily, supervise the labor force, monitor subcontractors, check materials, inspect work, and oversee quality control.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supervising construction projects and effectively managing teams. Key qualities include:

Communication: Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, professionals, workers, and contractors on-site.

Leadership: Ability to motivate teams to ensure high standards of work.

Problem-Solving: Resilience and problem-solving skills to overcome unexpected challenges during the construction process.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail while considering the overall project scope.

Technical Support: Experience in supporting mechanical and M&E disciplines.

Deadline Management: Ability to work to tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.

Qualifications: Health & Safety, SSSTS

Driving License: Full UK driving license.
