Connect Grp UK are Recruiting for an experienced Finishing Foreman to assist in the completion of a new build housing development in Hayle. You will be required to drive, lead and motivate a team of finishing trades to deliver a hi-spec finish on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and supervision to the finishing team, including carpenters, painters, tilers, drywall finishers, and flooring specialists.
• Ensure all finishing work meets client expectations and adheres to drawing plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality standards and identify any defects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules for finishing work, ensuring timely completion.
• Manage budgets for finishing materials and labour costs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of materials.
• Identify and resolve any problems that arise during the finishing stages.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all finishing work completed.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the Site Manager.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman or similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of finishing work, including carpentry, painting, tiling, drywall, and flooring.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Commitment to achieving high-quality finishes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel as a project monitoring tool
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
