Contract: Full-time, Permanent or Temp to Perm

Start Date: September 2024

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEMH students.
  • Supportive Environment: Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and understood.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with a dedicated team of educators, therapists, and support staff to create individualized learning plans.
  • Innovative Teaching: Utilize creative and practical teaching methods to engage and inspire students in various scientific disciplines.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching Science, ideally within an SEMH or SEN setting.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine desire to support and inspire students with SEMH needs.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
