We are looking for a Sessional Tutor – Art, Design and Media  to join our team. 

As a Sessional Tutor at the University of Nottingham International College, you will join our successful team and prepare, deliver modules in Foundation-level Visual Culture and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes offered by the college. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an Art, Design or Media Tutor/Teacher, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader. 

What you’ll bring to the role 

  • A Bachelor degree in a related subject area is ideal, but each candidate will be assessed on their own merits. Master's degree or higher in a related subject is desirable (or equivalent).

  • previous teaching experience in one of the relevant areas of expertise or a related area within a UK higher education context

  • ability to develop and update teaching material and preferably experience of working within a Virtual Learning Environment

  • competent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, etc)

  • strong record-keeping skills

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines

  • enthusiasm and motivation to be a performance-driven team player.
