Head of Marketing - B2B SaaS - Bournemouth / Hybrid Working - Competitive Salary + bonus & great benefits

We’re on the hunt for a strategic, innovative and disruptive Head of Marketing, with demonstrable success as a senior B2B marketing professional and an unrelenting drive to challenge, improve and transform, to join a successful organisation on a hybrid working basis.

As the Head of Marketing, you will work collaboratively with multi-disciplined teams to lead and motivate in order to deliver a marketing strategy that is aligned with the company’s objectives.

You will be an industrious, hands-one marketeer with deep knowledge and experience of digital marketing (social media, PPC, SEO, content marketing etc) and a highly organised yet agile and creative nature.

In a nutshell: You will be an experienced, senior level Marketeer with sound understanding of the full marketing mix. You will be ambitious, strategic and creative, organised yet flexible, a confident, professional communicator and a proactive, hands-on team player.

Hybrid Working: our client is offering a hybrid working environment for this role; the Head Office is based in Bournemouth.

Key responsibilities as the Head of Marketing will include:

  • Creating the ambitious and strategic B2B marketing plan to drive growth and success
  • Overseeing all campaign management, PR, events, design and digital marketing activity
  • Managing the marketing budget and ensuring its effective use and ROI
  • Driving, leading and supporting a team of 5
  • Understanding and influencing new market sectors
  • Delivery of ‘Business as Usual’, ad hoc and scheduled events
  • Driving prospect engagement via active campaigns
  • Undertaking competitor analysis and maximise external resources
  • Assisting the Commercial Directors in designing the partnership program with trade associations, consultants, industry bodies, PR companies and more
  • Working with the sales teams to evolve and improve the lead management process
  • Ensuring continuous improvement throughout all marketing activity

What we’re looking for:

  • Senior B2B marketing professional with proven experience leading, motivating and driving a team
  • Proven success in delivering full strategic marketing plans, ideally for a B2B SaaS product
  • Supervisory / management experience with the ability to lead, coach and mentor a team
  • Solid commercial understanding with the ability to design and executive business strategy and objectives
  • Deep understanding and experience of the full marketing mix with an emphasis on digital marketing (social media, PPC, SEO, content marketing etc)
  • Ability to gather and analyse data to inform solutions and influence priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Thorough, up-to-date understanding of CRM and marketing automation best practices (Salesforce/Marketo)
  • Relevant marketing qualifications / degree is advantageous
