Job Title: SEN Annual Review Officer
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)
Hours: 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Requirements: Basic DBS required, relevant qualifications in education or social care, and experience in conducting annual reviews for SEN children

Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced SEN Annual Review Officer to join our team. This role involves overseeing the annual review process for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their educational needs and support plans are up-to-date and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual reviews of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children with SEN.
• Coordinate with families, schools, and external agencies to gather comprehensive review information.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on review findings.
• Ensure all annual reviews are conducted in accordance with statutory requirements and local policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all annual reviews.
• Provide guidance and support to families throughout the annual review process.

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in education or social care (e.g., degree in Special Education, Social Work, or related field).
• Experience in conducting annual reviews for children with SEN, particularly with EHCPs.
• Strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic DBS required.
