SENIOR PLANNER (MEP) – Warrington based – Up to £65,000 per annum

VGC Energy part of VGC Group Limited are currently pleased to be recruiting for an exciting new role as Senior Planner (MEP) based in Warrington, requiring travel to Sellafiield site in Seascale.

Please note: You MUST have P6 experience for this role.

Senior Planner (MEP) – Rewards and Benefits

  • Up to £65,000 per annum
  • 42-hours per week Mon-Fri
  • 25 days paid annual leave (pro-rata).

Senior Planner (MEP) – Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the multi-discipline MEP services, you will operate under the guidance of the Planning Manager, Project Lead or Bid Manager.
  • To implement tender and project planning procedures throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to the business management system.
  • Esnuring programme content complies with planning procedures and guidelines
  • Identify planning scope, key constraints, and contract requirements.
  • Determine major quantities and factors impacting the programme.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Bid Team to establish key construction, sequencing, installation, and commissioning methods.
  • Produce and document planning deliverables, including programmes, planning philosophies, presentations, and reports.
  • Develop overall programmes, share with relevant parties for review, and implement recommendations, innovations, and best practices.
  • Interface with Key Delivery Partners (KDPs) and third parties at Sellafield to identify and resolve issues.

Senior Planner (MEP) – Requirements

  • MUST HAVE PRIMAVERA P6 and MS EXCEL experience!!
  • Proven experience in mid-large scale construction/engineering projects in a project planning capacity.
  • Experience working in a site team environment with multi-disciplinary services (digital, design, production, commercial, and planning).
  • Familiarity with various reporting cycles, such as Earned Value Management, Variance Analysis, Critical Path Methodology, and Quantity Tracking.
