Role Overview:

My client is a Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company.

They are currently delivering a major highways upgrade project in the Chesterfield area and require support in the form of a Senior Engineer - Roadworks and Civils.

This is a long-term contract position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing Site Team and working closely with the Agent and all PRS North delivery team members:

You will be responsible in the support of the following:

Managing all site queries and TQ coming from the design

Supporting with incoming technical queries from site and working with the design team to find suitable solutions

Ensuring that site surveys and records are recorded collated and provided as required

Managing the on-site co-ordination of activities

Working with the Supervisors and suppliers to developing and review safe systems of work.

Ensuring compliance with safe systems of work

Ensuring all works comply with highways and project specification and drawings leading on this and supporting the Agent and Senior Agent

Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with approved ITP

Carrying out quality assurance inspections and completing ITP check sheets manging this process with the Agent

Ensuring all activities on site are recorded through daily diaries, production control schedules and photographs

Update delivery schedules on a weekly basis with the Agent and Senior Agent

Reviewing drawings and raising technical queries relating to the design team

If required Deliver workforce briefings and Inductions

Supporting on night-shifts if the project operations ask for this

Skills / Qualifications:

SMSTS, CSCS, Highways Passport, Safety Critical Medical, Highspeed Road Construction Experience, Keen eye for Quality, Experience of finishing and handover of a highspeed road project., Degree or Similar, CSCS Card, SCM Safety Critical Medical, Highways Passport, CAT4 HSG47 Avoiding dangers from underground services. 1 Day Course Minimum
