As part of this transformation, they are seeking a talented Field Service Architect to join their Digital Technology Services team.

Role: Field Service Mobile Architect

Location: Windsor Hybrid (2 days a month onsite)

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: £640 - £740 per day (Inside IR35)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by improving how our client forecasts and plans colleague availability to match customer demand. By sending engineers with the right skills to customers' homes efficiently, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service while contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with the Field Service Mobile Product owner and the FSM team to review and improve the design and non-functional requirements of the Field Service Mobile application.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap of technical improvements to enhance the Engineer experience and app performance.
  • Utilise your expertise in Power Platform, including Power Apps, PCF Controls, and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, to architect solutions that align with coding best practises and ensure high-quality product development.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and the Power Platform release waves to drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong understanding of Power Platform, specifically Power Apps, PCF Controls, and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Field Service experience is a plus).
  • Proven hands-on development experience in implementing Power Platform technologies.
  • Familiarity with coding best practises within the Dataverse ecosystem.
  • Experience in application architecture and the ability to create detailed technical designs.
  • Proficiency in the development life cycle, including deployment, testing (including performance), and supporting non-functional requirements.
  • Previous experience in frontline worker processes, particularly for mobile applications.
