Sales Administrator and Finance Support - Energy Sector

Birkenhead, Wirral

Salary - £25k pa

Hours - Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 4:30pm

The Role:

Prosper Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly commended and innovative energy consultancy providing procurement and account management solutions to its customers. Due to growth, vacancies have arisen for a sales administrators. This is a vital role to our clients business and they are looking for only top-quality candidates.

This role requires a dynamic, confident, motivated and organised individuals who have previous experience of providing sales support in a busy sales environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the sales force with all sales related admin tasks and will also work closely with the directors in relation to pay roll and the preparation of financial reports.

Reporting to the Directors & Sales Manager, the duties of this role will consist of being a central point of contact for the company sales team for all sales administration.

Sales Admin aspects:

  • Ensuring all sales contracts are drawn up, checked for accuracy against their in-house CRM system and submitted to their suppliers in a timely fashion
  • Processing and following up information/ pricing requests
  • Validation of energy invoices via their bespoke online portal
  • Management of sales contract submissions until confirmed live
  • Managing and producing business written reports on a monthly basis
  • Full management of the front sheet policy
  • Providing daily updates with industry & supplier changes where necessary
  • Daily paradigm checks on the Admin side - Lock ins, terminations, COTs, Pending Lives, Issues tab etc.
  • Providing generic after sales support
  • Answering inbound telephone calls and dealing with them appropriately

Financial Aspects:

  • Preparing and managing monthly forecasting
  • Prepare and manage payments received and purchases made by the company
  • Seek to improve the financial controls within the company

Essential:

  • Previous commercial energy admin and finance experience in a busy sales office environment.
  • Computer literacy, in particular with Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong team work ethic.
  • Ability to think on your feet and work under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Customer service focused attitude when dealing with customers.
