We have an exciting opportunity to support in this year's store redevelopment plan, as Store Development Project Manager.  Working within our store development team you will be responsible for the coordination of all projects-based activity, which will be from the beginning of the tender process right through to the delivery, across multiple sites.

This role will be suitable to someone who has previous experience in project management, an eye for detail and is keen to get exposure within a retail operation across multi-sites.

The role will involve travel between our stores and will fall under our essential car user and company car agreement, therefore, to be eligible to apply you must be a holder of a valid driving licence.

Considering our project plan and timelines, the contract of this role will be until mid- November 2024.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver, control and complete designated Store project workload to budget, programme and approved specification and standards.
  • Programme and prioritise all fit out activity and resource. 
  • Assist the Property Team through assessing risks associated with Store acquisitions & recommending solutions for their resolution.
  • Ensure accurate electronic record keeping through Maintaining Orders, variations, Invoices and Database records and Dashboards and management reports in Tango.
  • Provide / act as a single point of contact for all project related issues.

About you:

  • Experience of fast-moving multi-site retail fit out, Project and Programme management experience ideally within multi-site retail.
  • Proven ability / successful track record of supply chain management. 
  • Demonstrably thorough understanding of all relevant legislation. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, namely MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and proven ability to manage projects effectively.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrable ability to resolve problems. (creative and pragmatic)
