Hays Specialist recruitment are seeking an experienced SITS Developer to join an ambitious educational institution based in Hull. This role is offered on an initial 6 Months FTC basis with possible further extension.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be a SITS specialist with a proven track record of SITS enhancement and support in a digital services setting. You will be responsible for the technical development, maintenance and support of the student information systems . As a SITS developer you will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ensuring that the Student Information System deliverables align perfectly with organisational needs.
With a focus on continuous improvement, the post holder must stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry best practices, contributing to the optimisation of IT services and overall business operations.
You will be involved with a number of areas including configuration, technical support , integration, management and resolution of incidents, security and documentation across the SITS system.


What you'll need to succeed
* Experience of relevant SITS software tools including E:Vision tasks, messaging, vistas, containers and container options, IPP processes, SRLs and SRL syntax and Stu-Talk. Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices
* Strong knowledge of the appropriate platform architecture and modules
* Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, SQL and T-SQL stored procedures.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
