Requirements:
 
  • At least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related field.
  • A drive to pursue a career involving the support of young people.
  • Commitment to following strict safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • A friendly, approachable personality.
  • Previous experience of supporting pupils, or working in a school setting, is advantageous but not mandatory.
 
The Role:
 
  • Providing 1-2-1 and small group support sessions to pupils with slight SEN requirements.
  • Working closely with teaching staff to adapt lesson plans and learning materials to suit the individual needs of each pupil.
  • Working in collaboration with teaching staff and parents to create a productive learning environment.
  • Building strong bonds with pupils and staff.
  • Assisting in the coordination of extra-curricular activities to extend pupils’ academic drive beyond lesson time.
