The Company:

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a small and friendly independent acoustic consultancy, who are looking to hire an Acoustic Technician. The company cover environmental and building acoustics across a wide variety of sectors, including quarry and mineral sites, rail projects, and sports and leisure.

The Role:

As an Acoustic Technician, you will be based out of their office in near Leicester and Northampton. You will be undertaking noise surveys all over the UK and preparing their corresponding reports.

Role Responsibilities Include:
* Preparing technical reports.
* Undertaking environmental noise surveys.
* Calculating acoustic formulas in respect to noise impact assessments.
* Liaising with site contacts, clients, and industry professionals.
* Noise modelling and assessments.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Basic knowledge of legislation and guidelines surrounding noise and planning.
• An understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment processes.
• A degree in Acoustics, or a degree in a related field, is preferred.
• A keen interest to further your career within the environmental acoustics industry.
• Full UK drivers license.
