The successful candidate will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance tasks. 

Leadership is a core aspect of this role, as the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for orchestrating a small, skilled team of engineers, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
In addition to leading the team, the Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive breakdown feedback to both the Shift Manager and Engineering Manager. This feedback is essential for the continuous improvement of processes and the minimisation of downtime. 

Engaging in Project Work, contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of the facility's capabilities.

Contractor management. 

Candidates must be apprentice trained, with a proven track record of leading a team of engineers in a similar environment. The ideal applicant will possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.

The position operates on a rotating shift pattern, encompassing early (6am - 2pm), late (2pm - 10pm), and night (10pm - 6am) shifts, offering variety and flexibility to suit different lifestyles.
