QA Technician
Alexander Steele is recruiting several QA Technician’s to join a leading food manufacturing business based in Leeds. The successful candidate will ensure all products manufactured meet the required food safety & quality standards and specifications. The role holder will report directly into the Assistant Quality Manager and play a crucial role in supporting the quality team with GMP, glass and hygiene audits on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure that products and processes meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits of product data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the business during third party audits and traceability exercises through presentation of QA function auditors and/or document retrieval
- Review and approval of packaging deliveries against approved artwork files
Background Experience:
- Previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry in similar roles.
- HACCP level 3/Food Safety Level 3
- Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What’s on Offer:
- Paying up to £29,000
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- 40 hours per week
