We are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Teaching Assistant Level 2 (TA2) to join the dynamic team.

Job Description:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (TA2), you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students. You will assist with classroom activities, help manage student behaviour, and provide individualised support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Help manage student behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with the assessment and recording of student progress.
  • Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team, and good organisational abilities.
  • Attributes: Patient, empathetic, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK.
