Overview

Our client is a leading construction company known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. They are currently seeking an experienced senior Site Engineer for a temporary role for 3 weeks (holiday cover, including handover) to oversee the construction of a key project This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company.The contractor build warehouses / sheds. The ideal candidate must have good experience in internal external concrete slabs, precast retaining walls. The engineer MUST HAVE THEIR OWN KIT

Key site engineer responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to plans and specifications
• Conduct site surveys and set out construction works according to plans
• Oversee and supervise site operations, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
• Co-ordinate with the site manager to ensure smooth project progress
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed site records
• Provide technical advice and solutions to construction challenges
• Perform quality control checks and ensure work meets the required standards,

Requirements

• CSCS Manager level
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD and surveying instruments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• basic modelling (civils 3D)
• MUST HAVE OWN KIT
