Mon-Friday on site. 2pm finish Friday.

Purpose of Role

As the Engineering Administrator, your main responsibility is to coordinate with Project Managers and the Financial Controller to manage and update budget tracking documents, Bills of Materials, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will be responsible for scheduling team meetings and events and conducting various administrative tasks to support monthly reporting.

Role Summary

  • Manage and maintain the NPI budget tracker to ensure accurate updates and control of programme and project finances.
  • Process all engineering requisitions and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Assist with booking and processing prototype orders.
  • Compile and manage the Schedule of Tooling submissions.
  • Set up and maintain Bill of Material records within the group ERP system.
  • Set up and maintain Work Centre and Stock records within the group ERP system.
  • Populate Engineering Change Logs.
  • Facilitate internal meetings to support engineering or process changes.
  • Provide support to Project Managers for all required APQP updates.
  • Input and submit IMDS data to the portal.

Skills/Knowledge Required

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to build working relationships with the engineering team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel.
  • Working knowledge of Syspro is beneficial, but training will be provided for those with experience in other business management and ERP systems.
