Project Manager required in London

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor based in Essex, who are in the market for a for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. As a Main Contractor they work within the Healthcare, Listed buildings, Commercial and Education sectors on refurbishment and new build projects.

This initial position will be for a D&B listed building refurbishment project in Central London. The project is logistically challenging being based in central London so someone who has previous experience on logistically challenging projects will be essential.

Project Value: £5m

Responsibilities for the Project Manager:

  • Working closely with the Contracts Manager and onsite Site Manager
  • Ensure smooth execution and high standards throughout all project stages.
  • Engage in project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Build strong client relationships and maintain high levels of project satisfaction.

Requirement for the Project Manager:

  • Previous Project Management experience working for a main contractor
  • Previous experience working challenging refurbishment projects in London
  • SMSTS
  • Gold/Black CSCS card
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management is desirable
  • First aid at work
  • Previous experience Project managing refurbishment projects in similar sectors
  • Experience managing refurbishment projects of a similar value
  • Experienced in program and project management
