Environmental Engineer

A genuine industry leading manufacturing company in Newport, who have recently had significant investment and are in a period of exciting growth, require an experienced Environmental Engineer to join their team.

They need someone to advise and support all departments on environmental issues, ensuring the company complies fully with all environmental legislation, and continues to maintain it's environmental certifications.

The company work across multiple industries at the forefront of technology. They are part of a wider group who are heavily investing into the Newport facility over the next decade, with ambitious plans to more than double capacity and headcount over the next few years.

You will ensure that effective environmental management system is maintained within the company, overseeing all elements of ISO (phone number removed) management for the site. As well as managing environmental compliance obligations, including Environmental Permitting Regulations, COMAH, F-Gas, etc. etc.

Experience/qualifications:

  • Ideally degree educated in a relevant discipline (i.e. environmental science)
  • NEBOSH/IEMA certified
  • Experienced environmental advisor/engineer from within a manufacturing environment
  • Environmental compliance knowledge, including (but not limited to); Environmental Permitting Regulations, COMAH, F-Gas
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001
